Your subscription starts the moment you pay. Assessment work starts once the assessment is paid in full. Assessment prices are set by Trident Trade Profiles and confirmed on your quote.
Two names, one company.
Trident Trade Profiles does the assessing and builds your profile. TRADePASS is what you carry and share. Both are Creative Nominees Pty Ltd. Your subscription is sold as TRADePASS, so that is the name on your tax invoice and on your card statement. When you are ready for an assessment, the quote comes from Trident Trade Profiles.
Before you ask.
- Is it a qualification or a licence?
- No. TRADePASS is a verified profile of your skills and experience that makes getting recognised, qualified or registered easier. It does not itself issue qualifications, registration or licences. Those still come from the training organisation you choose and from your regulator.
- Do I need formal qualifications to start?
- No. It is built for tradies whose skills come from years of on-the-job experience, and for those who are already qualified.
- Is this a tick-and-flick certificate?
- No. Your experience is assessed by qualified assessors against recognised industry standards. The point is real recognition, not a piece of paper.
- Who does the assessing?
- Experienced trade subject matter experts at Trident Trade Profiles. They are currently licensed and registered in their trades, and hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Who can see my information?
- Only the people you choose. Your profile is held securely and shared only on your say-so.
- What does it cost?
- Everything is in the price list above, ex GST with the GST-inclusive amount beside it. No card fees, no surcharges.
- How does the $20 mate credit work?
- 1. When you subscribe you get a TRADePASS member number, like #2610002. It's at the top of your welcome email.
2. Send your mates your link, or just tell them your number. They put it in the “mate's member number” box when they pay.
3. If you're one of the Founding 1,000, every mate who subscribes with your number puts $20 credit on your account. We email you each time.
4. When you book an assessment, Trident takes your credit off the invoice.Your mate pays the normal price. The credit comes off your assessment fee only, never the subscription, and it isn't cash. It's used on one assessment: it can bring that invoice down to nothing but not below, and anything left over doesn't carry forward. It lasts as long as you're a subscriber. If a mate's payment is refunded, that $20 comes off again.
